All records have been assigned to one of 8 broad classes: body garments, arm/hand garments, leg/foot garments, head garments, over garments, accessories, other/uncertain, and a classification for records referring to general background information on a find site. (The divisions are sometimes fuzzy or arbitrary. "Over" garments are those that cover the body generally but are not shaped to the body specifically. A sleeved coat would count as a body garment. A hooded shoulder cape counts as a "head garment". A full-length hooded cloak counts as an "over garment". When in doubt, try both categories.)
